No! Tap Solutions products do not require the use of any batteries to operate. Our NFC technology uses the power from the mobile device reading the embedded NFC chip to provide power to the product. As long as the device is NFC enabled, “Tap Friendly”, you will have no issues. Additionally, the QR codes we use are just like any traditional QR codes and can be read by most mobile phone cameras. When in doubt of the Tap, use the Snap!
When you purchase and sign up for a Tap Solutions product, you are billed on a monthly basis for the subscription based product that you have purchased. Most orders are processed within 48 hours of their order/sign on and users will be billed monthly, with the ability to cancel at any time. If you want to cancel or modify a product or subscription, please visit the “Contact Us” page and submit a message. Once a subscription is canceled, it will remain valid until the last day of the billing cycle, in which it will not renew.
Tap Solutions primarily manufactures its products using plastic, incorporating techniques such as injection molding and 3D printing. The most common materials we use are PLA and ABS plastics. For metal products, Tap Solutions utilizes CNC machining or casting processes, typically using steel or aluminum. However, in general, our products are produced using high quality plastic materials.
YES! When on the page for the listed product, you can find bulk discount pricing. Bulk discount pricing is great for solutions that require the need for multiple pieces of hardware. This is helpful in a variety of scenarios; for example with Tap Pay, having multiple pieces of hardware allows multiple mobile employees to process payments remotely independently. Or with Tap Helper, for a business with multiple entrances, a Tap Helper plate can be placed at each entrance!
